
Summer Music at Vermont Farms and Vineyards

Vermont summer music festivals and performances are in every corner of the state. If you’re looking for a new way to spend your summer evenings, here are seven Vermont farms and vineyards hosting outdoor summer music concerts in 2025.

Pittsford Village Farm
Pittsford Village Farm hosts free summer concerts on Tuesdays on its 20-acre historic property. The farm, a nonprofit dedicated to being a community center for all, hosts free “Tunesday” concerts between June and August.
Enjoy jazz, bluegrass, Celtic, rock and more. Sit back and enjoy an evening under the stars. (42 Elm St., Pittsford; pittsfordvillagefarm.org). Free admission.
When: Music 6-8 p.m. “Tunesday” concerts held Tuesdays, June 17 to Aug. 12, 2025.

Earth Sky Time in Manchester
In Southern Vermont, Earth Sky Time in Manchester hosts performances by bands and musicians like Billy Wylder’s Moonshine, Kotoko Brass, and Saints and Liars & Wild Leek River.
Earth Sky Time, located at the base of Equinox Mountain, is a certified organic three-generation family farmstead, wood-fired bakery, concert venue and community of artists, musicians and friends. Beer, wine, pizza and salad platters are available for purchase. (1547 Main Street, Manchester; earthskytime.com). Tickets $15; kids free.
When: Concerts 5-10 p.m. Concerts held on select dates between June 15 and Oct. 12, 2025.

Knoll Farm in Fayston
Bragg Hill Road—where you’ll find iconic views of Mount Ellen—is home to Knoll Farm, an organic berry and Icelandic sheep farm.
Enjoy folk, Americana, bluegrass, rock and more at summer concerts over the summer (700 Bragg Hill Road, Fayston; knollfarm.org). Tickets $30; kids under five free. Order a picnic basket or bring your own.
When: Music starts at 6:30 p.m. Knoll Farm’s concerts are scheduled for July 12, 19 and 26, Aug. 2 and 23, and Oct. 4, 2025.

Retreat Farm in Brattleboro
Enjoy live music at Retreat Farm every Thursday July 3 to Aug. 21, 2025. Enjoy an evening of tunes, lawn games, craft brews and food truck fare. Bring a blanket, chair and your friends.
This year’s Food Truck Roundup features a diverse musical lineup featuring The Rear Defrosters, Jatoba, Midnight Betty and many others. Grab dinner from your favorite food truck and drinks by Thirsty Goat Bar. (45 Farmhouse Square, Brattleboro; retreatfarm.org). Tickets $8 per person, kids under 12 free.
When: Music and food 5-8 p.m. Tuesdays, July 3 to Aug. 21, 2025.

Snow Farm Vineyard in South Hero
Summer music concerts at Snow Farm Vineyard started in the late 1990s. It could be the longest-running summer concert series in Vermont (they even held performances during the pandemic).
Bring a picnic, enjoy the vineyard’s many wines (they sell beer, too), dance the night away and spend time with friends in a gorgeous setting in the Champlain Islands. (190 West Shore Road, South Hero; snowfarm.com). Free admission.
When: Concerts 6-8 p.m. Thursdays, now through Sept. 4, 2025.

Feast & Field in Barnard
BarnArts and the Feast & Field Collective host weekly summer outdoor concerts Thursdays at Fable Farm’s orchard in Barnard. Food and drink are available for purchase.
Entry is sliding scale, $5-30 per person. Reservations can be made online at feastandfield.com. Walk-ins are welcome, space permitting. (1525 Royalton Turnpike, Barnard, feastandfield.com).
When: 5:30-9 p.m. Thursdays now through Sept. 25, 2025.

Shelburne Vineyard
Live music at Shelburne Vineyard happens on Fridays and Sundays, with some concerts on Saturdays. Hear artists perform bluegrass, swing, folk, rock and more at this popular vineyard. (6308 Shelburne Road, Shelburne; shelburnevineyard.com). Tickets $12 for some shows, while many are free admission.
When: Most 2025 concerts are held Fridays and Sundays at 6 p.m. now through August, with a couple of performances in September. Check the Shelburne Vineyard website for exact times and details.
