Groton Fall Festival, Parade & Chicken Pie Supper

Join in the Great Pumpkin Weigh-in from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., visit the library 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., see the annual parade at 1:30 p.m. Be sure to come to the old-fashioned hymn sing at the Methodist Church at 7 p.m.
The Peter Paul Historical House will also be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a special exhibit of Groton family wedding dresses and photos. The event focuses on Bristol Bill and his counterfeiting gang, coming to Groton from England in the 1890s.
Organizers are serving a chicken pie supper at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. with take-out available. Order supper tickets in advance. Contact Peter Lyon at 802-584-3020
