The Old Stone House Museum’s Juneteenth Celebration includes an unveiling of a new exhibit on the Civil War titled “A Call to Serve: Vermont and Unexpected Voices from the Civil War.”
The exhibit showcases a unique collection of artifacts to tell a fuller narrative of Vermonters’ contributions, and those whose stories often remain unheard. It will feature interpretive signs on African Americans, Black Confederate soldiers, Native American soldiers, women, and many more in the Civil War.
