Annual Whitingham Fishing Derby

The 15th Annual Whitingham Firemen’s Association Fishing Derby on Lake Sadawga includes prizes for the heaviest fish in two categories—perch and pickerel. First place wins $500; second place $300; third $100; and fourth $50.
This is a free fishing day in Vermont, so no license is needed.
Tickets available at the derby’s headquarters. Bait will be sold on ice.
Entry fee $10.
An accompanying adult must fill out a ticket for children ages 5 and under. Kids under 5 admitted free.
