Artist Talk: Jim Sardonis in Randolph

August 9 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Free

Chandler Gallery presents Natural Forms, an intimate new exhibition by Jim Sardonis, the sculptor behind Vermont’s iconic whale tails. This thoughtful show traces Sardonis’ artistic evolution through works in bronze, stone, wood, and plaster—offering a rare look into the creative process behind his monumental public art..

On Saturday, August 9 at 4 p.m., Sardonis will give an artist talk at Chandler Gallery, sharing the stories and inspirations behind his work—including the creation of the whale tails sculptures that have become part of Randolph’s visual identity. This event is free and open to the public.

In celebration of the exhibit, Chandler Gallery is also hosting a special raffle to support gallery renovations. Sounding, a bronze sculpture mounted on locally sourced Verde Antique marble, has been generously donated by the artist. Raffle tickets are available at the gallery and online through December 21.
