Brownsville’s July 4th Parade & Celebration

July 4 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Brownsville’s July 4th Parade at 1:30 p.m. is where you’ll see decorated floats, Shriner’s Clowns antics, fire trucks from across the region, antique cars, local law enforcement, decorated bicycles and proud marchers. This year’s theme is Country Roads.

A cash prize will be awarded to each of three float categories.  There will also be a fire truck award being given by the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Department. The Brownsville Hartland Road will be closed to all through traffic starting at 1 p.m.

Music by the Firehouse Dixieland Band will entertain everyone until the Brownsville July 4th parade starts at 1:30 p.m.

Breakfast

The Brownsville Community Church will be serving a community breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.  A Community Barn Dance will be in the church’s Tribute Park Pavilion for all ages and abilities from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

 Crafts, Book Sale and Food

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can wander over to the Town Hall where crafty vendors will be selling their wares, various local groups will be providing important information, and the Friends of the Mary L. Blood Library will be holding a book sale.
