Community Ice Games and Valentine Skate

Bring your 2026 Winter Olympic spirit to the rink! Gather your friends, family, and neighbors for an afternoon of old-fashioned community fun.

Run of Events:
2 p.m.: Opening Ceremonies
2:15 p.m.: – Individual Snowball Toss
2:30 p.m.: – Sled Pull Races
2:45 p.m. – Curling Competition
3:15 p.m. – Boot/Broom Hockey Tournament
4:00 p.m. – Closing Ceremonies

Stay after the games for a special Valentine skating event with fire pits, hot apple cider, and live music by DJ Fizex!

⛸️ 6-8 p.m. – Couples Skate

Want to spread even more Valentine spirit? For a $10 donation to the Rec Dept’s Youth Scholarship Fund, you can craft and share a special message that will be painted on a 16” wooden heart and displayed along the fence at the rink leading up to the event. What kinds of messages can be shared? Dedicate your message to a friend, significant other, fur baby, son or daughter, mom or dad, grandparent, coworker, community volunteer, or any special person, family, group, or organization that you choose.
