Eat, Drum, Dance! A Celebration of Ghana’s Independence Day in Barre

Shidaa Projects Inc. brings West African drumming and dance to Barre. This festive, family- friendly evening will include an authentic African meal, a drumming and dance performance, dance party and some historic knowledge of how Ghana celebrates its independence.
World renowned dancer and choreographer Samuel “Maama” Marquay will perform along with Jordan Mensah, Shidaa Projects Artistic Director supported by the Shidaa Drum and Dance troupe.
Suggested donation is $20 (the amount is flexible.)
