Family Snowshoe Scavenger Hunt in Middlebury

Have you ever been interested in trying out some snowshoes? They can provide a great way to explore on- and off-trail in the winter. No experience necessary! Meet at Chipman Hill in the morning, give a snowshoe how-to, and then you’ll be able to complete the scavenger hunt at your own pace. This hunt will lead you up Chipman Hill with a list of things to look for along the way. At the end, enjoy a fire and hot cocoa at an overlook. Snowshoes will be provided. Dress warmly, bring a phone or camera to take photos.
