Fledge Fest in Tunbridge

Fledge Fest in Tunbridge is an all-ages, community-minded, music and arts event hosted by Fledgling Farmstead.

Friday, August 22 is a FREE community event:

4 p.m.  Gates Open
Come early to set up camp and enjoy our woodland trails, lawn games, and immersive installations featuring art from Bread & Puppet director, Peter Schumann, and the Climate Farmer Stories exhibit. Join a hand-on arepa making with Nando Jaramillo of Moon and Stars.

6 p.m. Potluck featuring arepas and lamb roast from the farm
Please bring a dish to share and your own plates and silverware to cut down on waste. BYOB.

Dusk: Movie screening featuring shorts from film project “Campfire Stories”

After the film (around 9:30 p.m.), Moth Night sponsored by the Tunbridge Conservation Commission

Using a scientific method called light sheeting, naturalist Cheryl Metcalf will guide an exploration of the incredible diversity of moth species.

Saturday, August 23: This is a TICKETED event:
Sliding scale ticketing, $20-50 suggested.
Admission includes participation in two workshops prior to the start of the music.

11:30-1 p.m. Guided Plant ID Walk with Herbalist Betzy Bancroft
1:15-2:15 p.m. Centering Qigong class with Peter Payne
2:30 p.m. Music and food trucks into the evening, including fire spinning around 8 p.m., and late night DJ
