Flood the Streets with Art in Montpelier

Flood the Streets with Art in Montpelier welcomes artists and community members of all ages and abilities to create temporary chalk art installations on the city’s sidewalks.
The city will also have live music performances to accompany the artwork.
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – To participate and be assigned a section of sidewalk to draw on, stop by the registration tent during these hours by Christ Church at 64 State Street, Montpelier. Chalk will be provided, and there is no cost to participate. Professional artists will also create art at locations downtown.
Noon to 1 p.m. – The first Brown Bag Concert of the summer, featuring the Bent Nails House Band, will take place on the Christ Church lawn.
1 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Live music on State Street.
5 to 7 p.m. – Gather on the lawn at Christ Church to hear from community leaders, and enjoy a benefit concert featuring Honeybee Steelband with special guests.
Presented by the Montpelier Senior Activity Center, along with Montpelier Alive, the Center for Arts & Learning, Kellogg-Hubbard Library and the T.W. Wood Gallery.
