Enjoy a three-mile hike along the route of the Crown Point Road in Plymouth. Visit the Crown Point Road Association Marker 34 and pay respects to Vermont’s Unknown Soldier, who died here traveling home during the American Revolution.
Continuing hiking eastward, inspecting the foundations of early settlers’ homes along the way. A visit to a nearby early Plymouth mill site will cap off the day. Meet at the Tyson Congregational Church. Bring a lunch, wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
