Jericho Pet Parade

Don’t miss the 2026 Jericho Pet Parade, organized by the Jericho Town Library.

Event judges will be awarding prizes for the following categories:

Unearth a Story (It’s this year’s Summer Reading Theme at the library. Feel free to use your imagination to interpret this theme. If you need a little guidance, the library suggests costumes centered around dinosaurs, paleontology, archaeology, and gardening.)

Home is Where the Heart Is (This is in commemoration of our country’s 250th anniversary, the library invites paraders to design costumes which celebrate your love for your country, state, or hometown.)

Library Lovers (For paraders who want to celebrate libraries or beloved literary characters with their costumes.)

All participants in the procession should arrive at the Town Green on Jericho Center Circle by 9:45 a.m., as the parade will begin at 10 a.m.

If you are planning to bring a pet to the parade, you must register by 5 p.m. on June 4.
