Kingdom Swim in Newport

Swimmers of all levels will gather at Prouty Beach for the annual Kingdom Swim.
With events ranging from 100 yards to the epic 25-kilometer Border Buster, this weekend-long gathering is about more than just distance—it’s a full celebration of endurance, community, and the natural beauty of the region.
Highlights include a Friday night costume parade, boat tours, a community dinner, and a farewell swim at Lake Willoughby. All but the shortest events require a kayak escort, and volunteer pilots and rentals are available in limited numbers. Registration closes July 1.
