The Brattleboro Museum & Art Center (BMAC), in partnership with Rockingham Arts & Museum Project (RAMP), hosts a panel discussion about the past, present, and future of the Bellows Falls “island.”
RAMP founder Robert McBride will moderate the discussion, which will include geologist David Howell, archeologist Gail Golec, architect Dan Scully, Bellows Falls-based artist Charlie Hunter, and photographer Susan Mikula. The inspiration for the event is an exhibition of Mikula’s photographs of the Bellows Falls island, curated by Hunter and currently on view at BMAC.
Admission to the panel discussion is free, but space is limited and advance registration is required. To register, visit brattleboromuseum.org or call 802-257-0124 x101.
Prior to the event, attendees are encouraged to watch the video of a talk given by Mikula and Hunter at BMAC last November. The video is available at brattleboromuseum.org.
