The Marlboro Music Festival is a long-standing tradition in Southern Vermont.
Founded in 1951, the Marlboro Music is acclaimed for developing the artistry and enriching the lives of generations of musical leaders, and for initiating the explosion of interest in chamber music in the United States and abroad.
After three weeks of daily rehearsals, Marlboro artists begin sharing the results of their in-depth collaborations with audiences at the Marlboro Music Festival.
Public concerts are presented from mid-July to mid-August on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons as well as on one Friday evening each summer.
