Watch winter swimmers at the Memphremagog Winter Swimming Festival go cold-water swimming in a 25-meter, two-lane pool cut in the ice.
The idea for the swim was sparked a decade ago by Phil White, a self-described “water rat.” He founded the festival at Lake Memphremagog, which stretches from northern Vermont into Quebec. Read the full story in The Christian Science Monitor.
