Tour Naulakha, the house and grounds once home to Rudyard Kipling. The estate is ordinarily open only to overnight guests.

Start your visit with a tour of Naulakha, where Kipling wrote The Jungle Books and Captains Courageous (you can even sit at the desk!).

Explore the estate, including Kipling’s Carriage House and the tiny Stables Museum for a glimpse into the life of the Kipling family in Vermont. Roam the grounds to admire the vibrant flowers and the historic clay tennis courts, among the first in Vermont. Pack a picnic and soak up beautiful views.

The Cocktail Party option returns this year as well, offering an even more exclusive and intimate experience of this special property on Friday evening, May 30, at 6 p.m. These special tickets include all the same access as daytime tickets with the addition of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, Scott Farm hard cider, wine and beer.

Proceeds from all tours support the historic preservation work of The Landmark Trust USA.

Daytime tickets $25. Cocktail party tickets $75.
