Opening reception for Jim Sardonis Exhibit in Randolph

The Chandler Gallery in Randolph will host Jim Sardonis’ “Natural Forms” from Aug. 2 to Sept. 13, with an opening reception for the artist and community on Saturday, Aug. 2.
Sardonis’ work will be recognizable to many from his monumental sculptures throughout the region, including the iconic whale tails sculptures of Reverence and Whale Dance that can be seen from I-89.
This exhibit will feature his sculptural evolution with smaller works in bronze, stone, wood and plaster. Some of these are maquettes or models for his larger commissioned work and others are explorations of his familiar natural forms.
The Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon-5 p.m. through Sept. 13.
