Pond Skimming at Stratton Mountain Resort

See who sinks and who skims at Stratton Mountain Resort’s annual Pond Skimming event. Participants try to skim across the water’s surface and make it out the other side just as dry as they entered.

Come ready to skim the pond on your skis and snowboards, dressed in your favorite costume. Multiple winners will be judged on Best Costume, Best Crash and Best Skim.

All participants are required to wear a helmet for their run or they will be turned away. Participants must go down individually; no double skis, no pulling items and no ski poles are allowed for safety.
