The Tunbridge Town Hall Shindigs will begin its annual season on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Since 2007, the mission of the Shindigs has been to offer a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for musicians, dancers, and music lovers to enjoy the amazing power of music together.
The the monthly Tunbridge Town Hall Shindigs will begin with Burlington based band, Soul Porpoise laying down funk and soul inspired by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Dr. John, and Herbie Hancock. Band members
include: Paul Asbell, Collin Cope, Dave Grippo, Ira Freeman.
The Shindigs are informal dances held on the first Saturday of the month, November thru April (no gig in January). All are welcome to bring their own food and beverages. Please do not attend if you’re feeling ill or
potentially contagious.
For each Shindig the $15 cover charge is payable in cash at the door. This season’s line-up is: Better Days Band on Dec 6, Funky Flats on Feb.7, The Adam McMahon Trio on March 7 and Sensible Shoes with the Illustrious Subs on April 4.
