Be an actor, director, playwright, production assistant, or stage crew for a day!
Sign up for the 3rd annual Upper Valley 24-Hour Play Festival! In the festival, community members will work together over the course of 24 hours to create new one-act plays from scratch. It will start on Friday, October 24 at 7 p.m. when the writers get their prompts.
They’ll work overnight at JAM on the scripts. Then, early Saturday morning directors, actors, and theater technicians (stage crew) will arrive to spend all day rehearsing (the writers will go home to sleep during the day). At 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 25—exactly 24 hours after the festival started—the finished plays will be performed for the public at Briggs Opera House in White River Junction.
Festival participation is free and open to anyone 10+; no theater experience necessary.
