Vermont Jazz Center’s Emerging Artist Festival in Brattleboro

The Vermont Jazz Center welcomes Lakecia Benjamin as the headlining performer along with a dozen student groups from the greater Brattleboro community.
The Sixth Annual Emerging Artist Festival in Brattleboro begins with youth jazz ensembles performing at 118 Elliot Gallery on Friday, November 3 and continues at the Vermont Jazz Center on Saturday, November 4 with student groups starting at 11 a.m..
Headliner Lakecia Benjamin will present a clinic at 4 p.m. on Saturday followed by a concert with her quartet (Lakecia Benjamin–saxophone, Miki Hayama–piano, Ivan Taylor–bass, E.J. Strickland–drums). All events are open to the public and are free to youth attendees.
Concert tickets for adults are available on the VJC website (sliding scale of $25-$60). Ms. Benjamin’s concert will also be livestreamed.

Saturday, Nov. 4 from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. at Vermont Jazz Center
