VT Symphony: Jukebox Quartet concert

Composers from Woody Guthrie and Dmitri Shostakovich to Ethel Smyth and more have turned to music in the face of hardship.
In this Jukebox quartet concert, we look to composers who have created music for hope, resistance, and change—music composed in prison camps, music that calls out injustice, music that shouts dissent, music that is charged with the need to speak out and be heard.
In these challenging times, this special concert brings us together to offer a sense of optimism borne of music and community.
Featuring Brooke Quiggins-Saulnier and Joana Genova, violin; Stefanie Taylor, viola; and John Dunlop, cello. Hosted and curated by Matt LaRocca.
