The West Fairlee Old Home Day will celebrate the community with food, music, kids’ activities, raffle, vendors and more.

On the Village Green
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In the Union Meeting House (white church, 985 VT-113)
Basement: Steven Garrow, local author, Lorna Garrow, quilt maker
Inside front entry: Flu shot clinic, Dr. Steve Atwood, Vershire and West Fairlee Health Officer and Little Rivers Health Care of Wells River

Schedule (all events take place on or next to the village green)
9 a.m. – Veteran Fred Adams will sing the national anthem; American flag raised
9-10 a.m. – Drop off pies for pie contest (OK to drop off pies before)
9:15-10 a.m. – Kids games 10-11. Visit by Boston Tea Party participant William Cox, meet William Cox and visit his grave in the West Fairlee Cemetery
10 a.m.-1 p.m. – The Arts Bus- mobile art studio for kids sponsored by the West Fairlee Free Public Library Summer Reading Program
11 a.m.-2 p.m. – Or until sold out, lunch available for purchase, hamburgers, hot dogs, vegan, gluten free black bean burgers dairy free eggy vegetarian middle eastern cauliflower cake/quiche
11:15 a.m. – Pie contest winners announced, pie slices available for purchase
11:30-noon – Qi Gong healing class for elderly and for everyone, taught by Ursula Austin of Elder Taichi
Noon-2 p.m.-  Gr8ful Folk, live music
1:30-2:30 p.m. – Kids’ games
2 p.m.- West Fairlee Community Awards announced
2:30 p.m. – 50/50 raffle and silent auction winners announced
