Winter Solstice Wildlife Tracking in Montpelier

Looking for a way to get outside on the shortest day of the year? Join the North Branch Nature Center in Montpelier for a winter wildlife tracking walk on the trails. Free admission.

Search for signs of wildlife activity while appreciating the beauty and wonder of the natural world on the first day of winter. Dress to be outside the entire time, as you will stay on trail unless the entire group is willing/able to venture further afield.

This program will travel up to one mile in snowy, cold, and/or icy conditions, potentially on uneven or hilly terrain.
