The End of Summer
August 21, 2010
It’s only late August, but I can already feel the autumn chill in the air. Here and there a few leaves are turning yellow and orange, and the mornings are crisp and clear.
I love fall in Vermont. But I don’t know if I’m ready to say goodbye to summer just yet.

We shall enjoy every minute of Fall!

Posted at 14:56h, 22 AugustIt’s a beautiful photo with the few bathers and the resting bicycle – so far from the turmoil of the modern world. Yes, the air is turning crisp. Gone the haze of summer days… I am going to miss it.

Posted at 01:50h, 31 AugustHi Sharon — It went by way too fast this year!
Thanks Erin! Hope you can spend some time in VT soon!
Hi Carol — It’s strange how quickly the changes come at the end of the season. August is a strange month — kind of a mix of summer and fall.
Hi Hilke — I will miss it too! But seeing the leaves change will be nice. I’m just not ready!
