Independence Day in Jeffersonville on July 4, 2026  starts with a “We the People” Parade in Jeffersonville at 10 a.m. and a community Town Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The festivities continue at Smugglers’ Notch Resort’s Village Green with live music, food trucks, and entertainment starting at 5 p.m. with fireworks at dusk. Kick off Independence Day in Killington on July 4, 2026 at the Killington 4th of July Parade at 10 a.m. along River Road. At 11 a.m., enjoy public swimming with music at the Johnson Recreation Center, followed by the popular Fireman’s BBQ at 11:30 a.m.

Saxtons River hosts a full day of community fun on July 4, 2026. The festivities begin with the Firecracker 5K at 8:30 a.m., followed by the new Tour des Villages bike ride. Warren

Waterbury

The Waterbury Rotary Club’s “Not Quite Independence Day” (NQID) on June 27, 2026 features a themed parade down Main Street, followed by live music, food vendors, kids’ activities, and a fireworks show at Rusty Parker Memorial Park.

The event begins at 3 p.m., when food and beer vendors open in Rusty Parker Memorial Park, followed by the Green Mountain Mile race at 3:45 p.m,. The main parade starts at 4 p.m. on Main Street, with evening activities continuing in the park followed by fireworks at dusk. Wilmington

Woodstock

Woodstock will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with five days of festivities beginning July 1-5, 2026, kicking off with a Vermont Symphony Orchestra concert at Saskadena Six.

    You missed Saxtons River! A small town turns out with a road race at 8, Parade at 11, and traditional games to follow. Hula hoop contest, egg toss and firefighters’ water polo on the street.
