Annual Fall Foliage Bike Ride in Groton

Take a fall foliage bike ride on the Cross Vermont Trail in Groton State Forest. The ride starts at the Upper Valley Grill on Route 302 in Groton at 9:30 a.m., where riders will sign-in, receive route directions, and undergo a bike safety check. At 10 a.m., riders will head west to the Cross Vermont Trail, past Ricker Pond, Lake Pond, and onto the four corners at Lanesboro before turning around and heading back to Groton. The ride is 18-miles.
For families and people looking for a shorter route, Boulder Beach is a recommended turn-around point and reduces the ride to about 10 miles.
